Hi, I'm Alix

Qualified Nutritionist and Bioscientist – plus masters degree student.

Accredited member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and registered with most major private health insurance providers.

After being diagnosed with coeliac disease more than 8 years ago, I dove head first into the world of nutrition education and haven’t looked back since.

I’m passionate about helping people create and achieve sustainable health through a simple, whole food approach – with a focus on community based health and nutrition for people with disability.

I believes your physical and emotional health are intimately linked and  use evidence-based and holistic approach to help you achieve your health goals.

I don’t believe in fad diets and still eat a healthy dose of chocolate and cheese! You won’t find a ‘one size fits all’ approach to my work, but rather individualised treatment plans that are creative, practical and easy-to implement.

I’m passionate about encouraging people to develop strong, positive relationships with food and make great food choices, based on individual needs.

In clinic practice, I love to focus on:

  • Gut health: gastrointestinal symptoms, including food intolerances, allergies and IBS – using functional pathology testing to establish the root cause to digestive issues
  • Coeliac disease – including recipes and education
  • Women’s health, including hormonal and fertility
  • Simple nutrition education – including how to read food labels and navigate supermarkets.
